As curling continues to develop in Pakistan, and while indoor ice facilities are not yet available for training, Pakistan Curling will rely on dual-national athletes to help build and strengthen the national program. At this stage of Pakistan Curling's development, dual-national athletes will serve as Pakistan’s primary representatives in international competition, as they possess the training, experience, and skill set required to compete on the world stage.
Dual nationals who reside in countries with access to indoor ice facilities are able to train consistently and benefit from regular coaching, structured development programs, and competitive playing opportunities.
Athletes wishing to compete for Team Pakistan must hold a valid Pakistani passport or be able to obtain one prior to competing for Pakistan.
Pakistan Curling is currently recruiting athletes across all disciplines. Individuals interested in representing Team Pakistan are invited to submit a video demonstrating their curling experience and skills to info@curling.pk. Selected athletes will be contacted for further evaluation, and in-person tryouts may be required.
At present, Pakistan Curling is primarily funded by individual athletes and private contributions, rather than through direct funding from Pakistan's National Sports Organization - Winter Sports Federation Pakistan.
