Air Commodore Ashar Jamil serves as the Secretary General of the Winter Sports Federation Pakistan. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Federation, guiding the development and promotion of winter sports in Pakistan and representing the organization nationally and internationally.
Secretary General Jamil is committed to advancing winter sports through governance, international engagement, and long-term development initiatives. His leadership supports the growth of winter sports programs, athlete development pathways, and global partnerships that strengthen Pakistan’s presence in the international winter sports community.

Sabena Butt Islam is the Director of Curling for the Winter Sports Federation Pakistan. A dual-national, she is based in Kingston, Canada, where she is an accredited curling coach and an active competitive curler.
Sabena has over a decade of experience coaching athletes at competitive levels and is deeply committed to developing curling in Pakistan and supporting Pakistani athletes around the world. Her work focuses on athlete development, international pathways, and building sustainable curling programs.
Professionally, Sabena is a licensed professional engineer, corporate business manager, and community advocate. She brings a strong strategic and organizational perspective to sport development and leadership.
An avid sports fan, Sabena is married to Omar and is the mother of two sons, Bilal and Kaamraan, who are both competitive curlers.
